Since Rajasthan’s desert zone has extremely high incidence of curable blindness with very high backlog, the Trust is organizing CHC wise free eye camps in the districts of Jalore, Barmer, Nagaur, Jaiselmer, Banswara, Dungarpur, Churu, Pratapgarh, Rajsamand, Tonk, Bharatpur & Jodhpur from September to April to make this area as Cataract free zone. Up till now 170 camps have been organized which are preceded by extensive door-to-door publicity. So far as many as 43494 people have got their eyes checked in the camps and over 14926  patients have been operated for cataract etc.

Kuhad Trust provides free medicines and lenses to the eligible patients. It also provides spectacles & power glasses to them. Free food is provided to both the patient and his attendant.  Free stay is arranged for the patients and their attendants. The Trust also reimburses transportation charges to the operated patients both during the camp & in the subsequent follow up camps. The Trust is also giving gifts to each & every operated patient. To encourage the government field staff (ANMs etc), the trust is giving an award to 3 best performing staff members who motivated maximum number of patients to come to the camp.

The Trust ensures highest quality norms while discharging its duties.
